the problem is this

it’s a cycle because once they have kids…

oh I didn’t even think of that. I’m conflicted because it’s like, well she looks better but I’m also like she should love who she is. but I don’t know her so maybe she does and just wanted some improvement.

if she was good with herself she would not have gone through all of that.

I hear girls all the time, “Yeah I’d tweak my nose. Get some fillers here and there.”

Not “I’m gonna shave off my jaw, break it and reset it so it’s smaller, shave down my cheekbones.”

that’s true. I was just thinking of how every day people do certain things to themselves because they don’t have confidence in their looks. like wearing make up or working out or doing their hair. plastic surgery is just the one extreme of that and I think society as a whole is coming more to terms with it than we were 30 years ago. now days getting a facelift is like getting a haircut. it’s becoming not even a serious thing anymore.
